Did Jonathon Banks actually "lift" the notebook?[]
One of the fun things about Leverage, per John Rogers' blog, was that the actors, especially Beth Riesgraf (Parker), were trained by sleight-of-hand artist and personal security consultant Apollo_Robbins in a lot of the distraction tactics the team used - especially "lifting" wallets and so on. (Robbins later said that Beth had some of the "softest" hands he'd ever worked with and that if she'd wanted to make a living as a pickpocket she could probably do it. :) )
So it's not unheard-of for actors to be trained in such things, to make the on-screen stuff look more real.
Did they bother to train Jonathan Banks to actually do that "lift", or did they just have him fumble with the kid cop's coat a bit and call it a day? RickBrant (talk) 02:10, October 14, 2016 (UTC)
