The little black book was a black book that contained various contacts to the criminal underworld as written by Dr. Caldera.

Caldera wrote the names of all the people he knew who were in the game in that book, which was written in a cypher. Inside the book there were also several business cards between the pages, including one of Best Quality Vacuum. After growing tired of the criminal lifestyle, Caldera decides to retire and looks to sell his little book before leaving town to focus on just being a vet. During one of his lasts criminal jobs with Jimmy McGill and Kim Wexler, he allows the two to look over his book before taking it back. ("Axe and Grind")

Years later, it's seen that Saul Goodman acquired the black book and kept it in his house, the book was later impounded like most items in his house after his criminal activities became public knowledge. ("Wine and Roses")
