Gina Khalil is an Assistant District Attorney who prosecuted Lalo Salamanca, who was under the alias Jorge De Guzman, during Fred Whalen's murder case.

During Lalo Salamanca's arraignments and bail hearing, Saul Goodman calls out the prosecution for witness tampering. Gina mentions how this is a "small element" of the state's cause and argues to the judiciary that Lalo Salamanca is denied bail, as he poses a threat to the citizens of Albuquerque.
After the hearing, Gina talks to the Whalen family while Saul spies on them from afar. ("JMM")
When Saul arrives with Lalo's money to bail him out, and Lalo's bail money was being counted at MDC, Gina arrives. Astonished, she asks where the money came from. Saul refuses to answer. ("Bad Choice Road")
