Frank is an obese security guard for Cottonwood Mall, along with Nick. He is introduced to Jimmy McGill after Jimmy offers the two guards cinnamon roll from Cinnabon, Omaha on a regular basis, solidifying their friendship. Jimmy records the time it takes Frank to eat an entire cinnamon roll, as his back is turned away from the cameras, allowing somebody to sneak past without alerting the guards. After Jimmy visits the security guard office more often, he learns Frank's interests, mainly around football. Eventually, Jimmy distracts Frank enough with football small talk so that Jeff could steal valuable items of clothing from the shopping centre, even going as far as telling Frank that he has nobody in his life, which buys Jeff time after he slips over.
