I say we cap 'em both.
― Emilio to Krazy-8 about Walt and Jesse.[src]

Emilio Koyama is the cousin and right-hand man of Krazy-8, who worked as Jesse Pinkman's original partner in the methamphetamine business in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He and Jesse met when they were still in elementary school, and later became low-level meth distributors.

Warning, the following may contain spoilers.
When faced with two separate jail sentences, Emilio sought the services of Saul Goodman, who got Emilio's charges dropped, impressing Jesse, whom had previously been told about Saul's abilities as a lawyer by Kim Wexler. In 2008, Emilio was arrested during a DEA raid on a house (at which Walter White is present during a "ride along" with his brother-in-law Hank Schrader) in which the DEA is looking for a meth supplier who goes by the street name "Cap'n Cook" (Jesse himself). As Jesse proposes Krazy-8 to manage the distribution of the superior quality methamphetamine he produced with his new partner, he realized that Emilio made bail.

Suspicious that Jesse ratted him out to the police (although it is later revealed Krazy-8 was in fact a DEA informant), Emilio and Krazy-8 force Jesse to lead them to his new partner. Emilio recognizes Walter from the time of his arrest and suggests killing both Walter and Jesse. Walter convinces them to spare their lives if he teaches them his meth formula. While the three are in the RV, Walt deliberately causes a chemical explosion and flees, trapping Emilio and Krazy-8 inside the RV with deadly phosphine gas. Emilio dies and Jesse subsequently disposes of his body by dissolving it in hydrofluoric acid, albeit disastrously as it also dissolves Jesse's bathtub and the floor below.

Emilio tells Francesca that "I don't do no paperwork" which she reiterates to Saul as he enters the office, but Saul doesn't care. Meeting Kim outside, Jesse Pinkman tells her that Emilio is facing some serious jail time and that he had chosen Saul based off of a TV commercial against Jesse's advice." ("Waterworks")

Breaking Bad[]

Jesse mentions that Saul provided Emilio legal representation on at least two occasions, getting him acquitted both times despite much evidence against him ("Better Call Saul"). While talking with gathered DEA agents about the new meth in Albuquerque and the disappearance of Krazy-8, Hank Schrader reveals that Krazy-8 had been the one to rat out Emilio. Another DEA agent asks if Emilio could've been the one to presumably kill Krazy-8, but Hank admits that while that is a possibility, Emilio is also missing. Later, Skinny Pete and Combo ask Jesse about losing his partner Emilio who they have heard is either in jail or was bailed out by his cousin and skipped town. Uncomfortable, Jesse quickly brushes off the questions about Emilio. ("Cancer Man")
