Declan's Crew was a meth manufacturing and distribution operation in Phoenix, Arizona led by Declan. They were a competitor of Gustavo Fring's drug empire, having amassed tens of millions from their operations, later becoming a part of Walter White's Methamphetamine empire that arose in the aftermath.
Following Walt's retirement, Declan employs Todd Alquist to cook Walt's meth however he fails due to inexperience and Declan fires him and uses his own cook to produce lower grade meth in Arizona, which still turns a good profit. He and his entire crew (excluding Walt and Todd) would ultimately be killed by Jack Welker's Gang.
History[]
By the end of Gustavo Fring's empire, Declan and his crew had amassed tens of millions of dollars from their operation. Declan contacted Mike Ehrmantraut to set up a meeting in the desert to buy out the 1,000 gallons of methylamine stolen by his crew.
When he, Jesse, and Mike all come face to face, they attempt to strike a deal that would give him Jesse and Mike's shares of the recently stolen methylamine; however, it becomes compromised when he refuses to buy just 2/3 of the lot, explaining that the steep price is also paying to have his competitor's Blue Sky off the market.
Days later they meet again, but with Walt in charge of the meeting. He convinces Declan and his crew to work for his drug empire by distributing his 99.1% meth instead of their 70%. Before Declan can agree, Walt demands that Declan "say my name" to which he responds "Heisenberg". Declan then makes the deal with Walt, buying out Mike's partnership for $5 million.
Following Jesse Pinkman's retirement from the meth business, Walt continues to work with Declan, by having his assistant cook Todd Alquist make drop-offs of meth to Declan's man in Arizona.
After Walt's retirement, Declan took over the empire and Todd became the primary cook. At some point, Declan fired Todd and resumed using his initial meth cook. Later, Lydia met with Declan and his crew at their hidden meth lab in the Arizona desert and told them their low quality methamphetamine wasn't good enough to sell to their buyers in the Czech Republic and that they are leaving $50 million on the table. Declan refused to clean up his operation or hire Todd back. At that point, Declan and his men were ambushed by Jack Welker and his Gang, who, acting on Lydia's orders, killed Declan's men and his cook. A wounded Declan tries to crawl away from the carnage but he is shot dead by Jack. This results in Declan's crew becoming defunct, and Jack Welker's gang occupying their territory, until their own destruction at the hands of Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.
