Dale meets Kim at the bar, where he attempts to hit on her by buying her a drink when he notices her contemplating the offer she got from Schweikart & Cokely. After getting to know Dale, Kim calls Jimmy, telling him to come to Albuquerque as soon as possible from the Davis & Main office in Santa Fe. When Jimmy arrives, he introduces himself again as "Viktor" and asks what line of work Dale is in. Dale replies that he's an engineer, to which Jimmy sarcastically asks, if it's like Casey Jones the famous train engineer. Jimmy and Kim are able to scam Dale into writing a phony check to them made out to "Ice Station Zebra Associates" from his account the Cradock Marine Bank. ("Bali Ha'i")
