Wow. I hope someone says that about me someday.
― Cary Anderson after Howard Hamlin calls Chuck McGill a great legal mind.[src]

Cary Anderson is an employee at Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill (HHM).

History[]

Better Call Saul[]

Background Information[]

Cary Anderson joined Hamlin, Hamlin & McGill (HHM) as an employee sometime following the events of Chuck McGill's suicide, as Cary was initially unaware who he was.

Season 6[]

Cary walks in on Howard Hamlin and, startled, drops canned drinks on the floor. Howard demonstrates to Cary how rotating the cans several times relieves them of the pressure which would otherwise cause them to explode after being dropped or shaken. He explains that he had learned this trick from his old partner, Chuck, whose portrait hangs in the conference room.

Having joined the firm after Chuck's death, Cary asks who he is and Howard identifies Chuck and tells Cary that he's "the M in HHM." Howard calls Chuck the greatest legal mind that he ever knew and an impressed Cary expresses hope that someone says the same thing about him some day. Howard responds by saying "well... maybe there are more important things." ("Plan and Execution")
