Only two things I know about Albuquerque; Bugs Bunny should've taken a left turn there, and give me a hundred tries, I'll never be able to spell it.

Albuquerque, New Mexico, is the largest city in the U.S. state of New Mexico and the primary setting and shooting location for the series Breaking Bad, its spin-off, Better Call Saul, and its sequel film El Camino.

Albuquerque is the city in which Walter White, Jesse Pinkman, Jimmy McGill, Mike Ehrmantraut, and most of the characters of the Breaking Bad franchise resided, and the events of the story transpired throughout the city and its surroundings.

Before the events of both Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Gustavo Fring arrived in the area and re-established his fried chicken restaurant chain, Los Pollos Hermanos, which doubled as a front organization for the Juarez Cartel. Albuquerque subsequently became a major hub for drug trafficking from Mexico.

Jimmy McGill started his legal career as a public defender in Albuquerque and lived in the shadow of his older brother Chuck, who co-founded one of the most prestigious law firms in the city. Jimmy gradually shifted his path to being the go-to lawyer for Albuquerque's criminal community, becoming a local celebrity by flamboyantly advertising his services on television using the pseudonym "Saul Goodman". It was through this work that came into contact with Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.

Through cooking of methamphetamine, Walter White entered into Albuquerque's hidden criminal underworld, eventually becoming the biggest meth distributor in the city and forming the largest meth manufacturing operation in U.S. history, while managing to go under the radar of law enforcement and the government. Walter's actions often brought chaos and terror to Albuquerque, such as his indirect role in a plane crash above the city, his bombing of a local nursing home, and numerous deaths and murders.
