Having successfully delivered the meth, Walter races into the parking lot of the abandoned motel where he calls the hospital and learns that his wife, Skyler, has given birth. He removes the spare wheel from the trunk of his Aztek to hide the bag of money he collected. ("Phoenix")

- This was a historic landmark called De Anza Motor Lodge, named after Spanish governor Juan Bautista De Anza.
- The inn was built in the late 1930s and opened its doors in 1939.
- It was abandoned sometime in the 2000s.
- In 2018 the motel was demolished and redesigned into condos.
- Zia Motor Lodge is 3 blocks down from De Anza Motor Lodge.
