The United States Penitentiary, Montrose Administrative Maximum Facility (USP Montrose ADMAX), unofficially nicknamed ADX Montrose and "The Alcatraz of the Rockies," is a super-maximum security federal prison located in Montrose, Colorado.

Jimmy McGill was incarcerated in ADX Montrose after being sentenced to 86 years in federal prison for his involvement in the building and operation of Walter White's meth empire and related crimes. He had previously visited a client in the prison and was appalled by its condition, calling it a deal breaker for his plea bargain. ("Saul Gone")
