I am profoundly sorry for this... thing
a pants-less Walt and a black-eyed Jesse hire a local backhoe operator to pull the RV out of the ditch. Afterwards, the two agree to end their criminal partnership as soon as they deal with the bodies of Emilio and Krazy-8. However, as Walt finally gets the engine of the RV to start, a rustling sound alerts them to the fact that one of the dead men isn't dead.
Walt's heart nearly leapt from his chest as he spun around, eyes wide with shock and fear. The rustling had come from behind the stack of tires where they'd left Krazy-8's prone form. With a surge of adrenaline, Walt lunged for the revolver on the dashboard, his fingers closing around the grip as he whirled to face the threat.Jesse! he hissed through gritted teeth. He's alive!Jesse's head snapped up, his expression a mix of disbelief and dread as he too drew his gun, aiming it at the spot where Krazy-8 was supposed to be lifeless. A moment later, the Mexican's wiry frame emerged from behind the tires, his hands raised in a placating gesture. No, no, homies! I ain't lookin' for trouble,
Walt and Jesse exchange a tense glance, guns trained on Krazy-8 as he slowly steps out into the open. His clothes are torn and bloodied, but there's a wild gleam in his eye that suggests he hasn't lost his fight.Krazy-8: He raises his hands higher, palms facing outward. I'm just tryin' to get my shit together here, you know? I don't want no beef with y'all. His gaze darts between the two men, trying to gauge their reaction. A trickle of blood runs down his temple from a wound on his scalp.I heard what you said about Tuco...and the Cousins. I don't want none of that heat, man. I just wanna get outta here in one piece.
Walt's finger tightened on the trigger, his mind racing with the implications of this unexpected development. If Krazy-8 was still alive, did that mean Emilio was too? And if so, how long until the rest of the cartel showed up looking for revenge? You're damn lucky we didn't finish you off when we had the chance, Walt growled, his voice low and menacing. But since you're so keen on living, tell us - where are your people?Jesse shifted uneasily beside him, clearly just as rattled by this turn of events as Walt was. Their partnership was already strained, and now they were faced with the very real possibility of a full-blown gang war erupting over their heads.Krazy-8 swallowed hard, his Adam's apple bobbing in his throat.
Krazy-8 swallows hard, his eyes darting nervously between Walt and Jesse as he tries to decide how much to reveal.Krazy-8: Look, I ain't got nothin' to do with them Cousins no more, okay? They think I sold 'em out, but I swear on my mama, I didn't say nothin'.He takes a tentative step forward, keeping his hands raised.Emilio's holed up someplace safe, tryin' to lay low till things cool down. But the Cousins, man...they're like a pack of wolves sniffin' blood. Once they catch wind of him, they won't stop till they find him.Krazy-8's voice drops to a whisper, a note of desperation creeping in.Please, homies, you gotta help me.
Walt scoffed, shaking his head in disgust. Help you? After everything you've put us through? He took a step closer to Krazy-8, jabbing the barrel of the gun against the man's forehead hard enough to draw a pained grunt. We should have finished you when we had the chance, Walt snarled. You're nothing but a liability now.Beside him, Jesse shifted uncomfortably, clearly torn between his loyalty to Walt and the uneasy truce they seemed to have stumbled into with Krazy-8. Walt... he began hesitantly. But Walt cut him off with a sharp glare, turning back to Krazy-8 with a sneer. You want our help? Then start talking. Where is Emilio hiding? And what exactly did you tell the Cousins about us?
Krazy-8 flinches as the gun presses against his forehead, a bead of sweat trickling down his cheek. He looks up at Walt with a mixture of fear and pleading in his eyes.Krazy-8: Okay, okay, I'll tell you everything! Just please, don't shoot me again, man. I'm hurt bad enough already. He takes a shaky breath before continuing.Emilio's hidin' out in an old abandoned house on the outskirts of town. It used to belong to some rich family, but it's been empty for years. That's where he's layin' low, tryin' not to attract no attention. As for what he told the Cousins, Krazy-8's expression turns grim.I didn't say nothin' specific about you two, I swear.
THAT'S ENOUGH GARBAGE, IT'S TOO MUCH š
