<p>Yeah I posted that before the finale... So obviously VG tied together the laser motif, and you could look at the first two as foreshadowing. I doubt he planned the exact ending with the earlier flashbacks, but he probably planned to use it at some point... </p>

You're talking about when they're on the roof? The shot goes to like another level out through the garage? I believe what you hear are tires squealing as a car makes a couple turns in the garage.

<p>Some stuff I noticed the first time through, symbolism wise - like the painting. I started late on Netflix, so I knew to look out for stuff. Some stuff I caught my second time through... Now I've turned on the marathon here and there and noticed stuff I missed... </p><p>I forgot by the time the cousins came after Hank that the season started with some big foreshadowing of the crawling. Everyone is crawling up the dirt road to the shrine with the Heisenberg picture, and eventually Hank is crawling and survives but is crippled for awhile and one cousin loses his legs, then crawls toward Walt in the hospital. </p><p>I also noticed the parallel and started a thread about it.. It's not just Gus and Walt laying on the ground, mouth open, as a "brother," is killed. Jesse is also enslaved to cook meth in both story arcs, and both Gus and Walt have something stolen from them. Will this story arc end similarly? </p><p>I also notice more and more eyes everytime I re-watch something. The eye injuries and the teddy bear eyeball are kind of obvious, but there are also shirts with the all-seeing eye, for example. My theory has always been that when a left eye is injured, the character is blinded to what's really going on around them... When a right eye is injured, they are not. Sometimes I think the same applies with an eye in complete shadow due to the lighting. </p><p>I also noticed there's been a bit of a laser theme/easter egg. When Walt and Skyler are looking at the house in a flashback, the realtor jokes about him working with lasers. Saul wants him to buy a laser tag. Am I missing any laser references? </p>

<p>I didn't say they'd all survive though... I'd set the over/under at 2.5. I could see Walt Jr dying trying to protect Skyler if Todd comes after her, then Skyler dying as well and Marie ending up taking care of Holly and picking up the pieces... </p><p>I think one kid and one Lambert sister survives, at least. I'd be surprised if all four survived or all four were killed, though. </p>

<p>There can be some happiness in the ending, though. Between Marie, Skyler, Walt Jr and Holly, I think there is going to be some happiness - or at least an absence of death and destruction. </p><p>Back when Gus was warring with the cartel, and the guy was shooting at the distribution center and Fring walked out and stood there... Was that an M60? </p>

<p>Technically, we didn't see the bullet enter his head. It was shot (camera wise) from an odd angle. </p><p>I think he's dead, I'm just saying... I'd put it at 99%, not 100%. </p>

<p>I can't see Jesse killing Walt, but I could see him having an opportunity to help him and letting him die. Turnabout is fair play and all. </p>

<p>Also, Gus dies two episodes later... So in a finale jamming a lot of action in, Walt could die a little later. I could see this all coming together pretty nicely. </p>

<p>I thought about this when it first aired. We never actually see him dead. Most victims in this show, I feel like we did. Gus's partner we saw blood pouring out of his head. Fring we saw with his face blown off. Gale we got proof from the DEA. Jane we saw carried out. Victor we watched die... And so forth and so on. </p><p>The thing is, Walter had a front row seat and collapsed, watching it. He didn't seem to think there was any chance he was alive. They also buried him, right? So even if he wasn't fatally wounded, he was buried alive. </p>

Did Salud Foreshadow Felina?

<p>A lot of people had pointed out the parallel of Gus laying face down by Don Eladio's pool after his "brother," was killed to Walt lying face down in the desert after Hank was killed. Watching Salud I just realized that whole story arc is being paralleled right now - I haven't seen anyone point this out yet. </p><p>1. Don Eladio kills Gus's "brother." Gus lies face down by the pool. </p><p>2. Later, tensions between Gus and the cartel (started when they are stealing his shipments) lead to Jesse being enslaved as a meth cook. </p><p>3. Gus poisons Don Eladio by the same pool, getting his measure of revenge and freeing Jesse. </p><p>Now, we have... </p><p>1. Jack kill's Walt's brother in law. Walt lies face down in the desert. </p><p>2. This time immediately, tensions between Walt and Jack hit a boiling point, which leads to Jack stealing Walt's money and enslaving Jesse as a meth cook. </p><p>3. ? </p><p>Could we see the same ending? Walt gets a meeting with Jack and his people on the reservation in the desert and gets his revenge, freeing Jesse in the process? I still think WW dies in the end, so this could be an end to one story arc but not necessariliy the last scenes of the whole series. </p>

<p>How awesome would a flashback be to that fateful Fourth of July when he left Gretchen, letting us learn what happened and ending with him walking past a little store and seeing the Heisenberg hat in the window. He could just look at it, go, "Hmm..." and the credits could roll. </p>

<p>I wouldn't be surprised if it topped 8, or even flirted with 10. I think a lot of people that normally DVR or watch online will watch the finale live, and there are a ton of people marathon-watching to catch up to the finale. Plus it's been hyped up enough that a lot of people who have never watched the show may even watch the finale. </p><p>If I had to pick a number, I'd go 8.5. </p>

<p>In terms of getting at Jack's crew, Walt could use Lydia to set up a meeting. He could probably track her down, and he could lure her to a meeting under the guise of either wanting to cook again or being worried about loose ends (playing to her biggest fears/weakness). If he found out that Lydia wanted Skyler dead, he could pretend to want the same to get the meeting. </p><p>He could then swap her stevia for ricin AND threaten her with physical violence, forcing her to set up a meet with Jack's crew and then he surprises them and shows up. Then he'd succeed in taking her out and get a shot at them. </p>

<p>I believe the first few times Jesse gets a black eye, it's his left eye. That's the all-seeing eye in mythology and what not, so it symbolizes that he's not seeing truth. That's my thought, anyway. There are plenty of scenes throughout the series that can tie in to the left eye/right eye motif. My theory is if the left eye is injured, the character in question is not seeing the world around them for what it is, or they are blinded by something. If the right eye is injured, they are seeing truth - but is it in time? </p>

<p>Is September too early for snow on the top of a mountain? We don't know how far down the mountain the bar is. That far north, snow is possible that early, though probably not to the degree they had. However, if you're up on a mountain, depending on the elevation all bets are off for the vast majority of the year I would think. </p>

<p>I think based on the brilliance of Vince Gilligan throughout the series and the fact that, as others noted, so many cast members and VG have said they think most fans will be satisfied with the ending, if not happy, they can't pull a Lost. I don't think they'd write that ending, then proudly tell fans that they're going to be satisfied. </p><p>Talk about some Walter White hubris! </p>
