<p>I don't remember Walter having a learning curve at all - when was the quality of his product in the mid 90's?

Acording to what you see as Gus Fring character, I strongly belive he's not chilean, and use these nationality as back up for he's meth bussines. When he talks about his past at Hank, he mention how in Chile records back inthe 80's are a bit loose, thats an open window for a second identity. Other wise, why Gillian would chose an actor that when speaks spanish doesn`t do it with a chilean accent, what to say about his brother Max, that more sound like central american than chilean, both have darkner skin than an average chilean. <p>They should pick up the suggestions we made here in this forum for the bonus material on the BluRay box: Walter overhears Gretchen's brothers (or father) trying to talk her out of that relationship with Walt, who will never accomplish anything meaningful in life as they say. Gretchen's reaction to that could be silent, so that Walt doesn't notice she (kind of) defends him, and therefor he's under the (wrong) impression that she didn't stand by him when she should have, which was his reason leaving that place. And yeah, icing on top of that would be him buying his famous Heisenberg hat right after that. :)

<p>They fell off in the very last take of To'hajiilee, right before the end credits show up, but the first time we see Walt in Ozymandias after Kenny says "these guys are DEA", they're back on him where they belong, not bent at all.
