<p>Lydia did a 'hostile takeover' of Declan's meth business, and with Walt back and needing money, WW is considered another obstacle/competitor to her meth empire and needed to be eliminated..

<p>yes Walt was still standing as the cops were arriving in the background, and seemingly arrived in the lab soon after he collapsed, so perhaps he was just unconscious. The wound was in his side, not the final coup de grace bullet in the chest as the 'El paso' song was about. And since he was low, below the firing level of the gun, it may be a deflected bullet, which would be less deadly.
</p><p>So it's very conceivable Walt is alive, but the BB franchise would be seriously discredited if they decide to bring him back.

It appeared the gun setup in the car was a bit different from the desert testing session. the ratcheting wrenches have been replaced.

</p><p>Great writing angles and visuals all around. Jesse said Walter was lucky, and he was quite lucky when the cars keys fell in his lap and the cops did not check him out, before or after he stole the car from an area where the bar was.

</p><p>I wrote elsewhere about the m60 machine gun not desgined to be held and shot, but perhaps WW tries to be like scarface, but the heavy gun is so unwieldly he ends up out of control like the gorilla.
</p><p>or combine those two scenes to assemble WW Jesse and Jr. as the 3 stooges with the m60.

<p>Walt Jr. is the last innocent member of the cast (excluding baby), and he will finally be brought down by Walt's empire like the rest of them. WW knows he was Jr's idol (earlier), and when he knows his namsake Jr has fallen, could cause some drastic action by WW.

<p>I don't think Walt will be violent with Gretchen and Elliott or Gray Matter. Walt does what's necessary, and that's not. He's more likely to make them look dumb, and drop their stock more.
