@NicoUC10 You can say the same thing about Chuck as well tho. Without him, Jimmy would never become Saul. But I agree, Lalo was the best villain and antagonist in the entire BB/BCS universe and the fact that he just started out as a throw away line is insane!

Walt and Jesse got extremely lucky they didn't start their business in the early 2000s because Lalo would've dealt with them with a devilish smile on his face.

The guy was the freaking devil in human clothing. He had no tragic backstory or inner conflict within him, he was just evil. The only human thing might be his care for his loved ones, but considering how he used Ciro as a human shield, even that can be questioned to some extent (he does actually care about Hector).
