I would like to have a toast for today Saul is taking his final call. Thank you Vince and the crew for making the act of breaking bad so good.

It has really been an experience watching both these shows in their entirety I don’t think I’ll ever find another show like Breaking Bad or Better Call Saul, a cast of characters, a group of actors, a directing/writing/camera/production crew I’ve enjoyed watching work and play out ever again.
These shows (And El Camino Of Course.) have completely changed my views on acting, writing, directing, cinematography, editing, and filmmaking as a whole with their actors who are completely passionate about their characters and performances who give it their all at all times, their directors who don’t get enough credit for the attention they pay to each character’s movements, mannerisms, subtleties, and feelings in each scene, the writers who have written some of the best television and best stories of all time, the camera crew and cinematographers who have made every shot matter and be as memorable as possible and sometimes subtly foreshadow future events, the editors who have perfectly formed the several hundreds if not thousands of scenes into episodes, the producers who have overseen these masterpieces and brought in all the right people to do these stories justice, the costume designers who made sure that each piece of clothing perfectly suited the actors and fitted their character’s personalities, the makeup artists who applied some of the most gruesome fake injuries and made the cast look amazing in every scene, the rest of the crew behind both these shows (And El Camino) who I can’t mention all of because this post is already long enough and I’m not fully aware of every department behind all these titles, and last but not least the creators Vince Gilligan (For Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul) and Peter Gould (For Better Call Saul) whose ideas gave us one of the most iconic franchises of all time.
I loved every minute of Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, and El Camino and it’s really gonna bust my balls to have to let them go but they will always hold a special place in my heart and presumably everyone else’s.
This show taught me that not only is filmmaking an art form but every aspect of it is aswell.
From it’s characters portrayed by actors who have given it everything they’ve got and who have so much depth and interesting and layered story about criminality and the toll it takes on the people involved in the criminal underworld or affiliated with it I will never forget it.
To think that I only started watching Breaking Bad about a year and a half ago.
Goodbye Breaking Bad, Goodbye Better Call Saul, thank you for giving us a decade and a half of amazing characters and amazing TV, and Salud.
What do you think?
