Why does Mike blame Walt for his ego before Walt kills him? Was it because he made Jesse his assistant in the first place cause he didn't like Gale? Or because he killed the dealers?
Because he and Walt had great working conditions while working for Gus, and never left a trail for the police before. Instead of doing his quiet work, Walt revolted against Gus, and was responsible for his death. According to Mike, if Walt didn't have such a big ego, Gus would still be alive, they'd have the same great working conditions as before, and they wouldn't have to run away from the police.
