August 11th is finally here. This forum should have a thread where all Season 5B talk can go, so here it is.

Who else is more excited for today than they were for X-Mas as a 5 year old?

He quit because of the pile of money, there was no point working hard to make meth and adding even more money to the pile because it cant be laundered it would just sit in that storage locker for who knows how long. He didnt know the cancer came back until some point in 509. The relationship with Sklyer isnt 100% either, so he feels its better to not complicate it by revealing something she wished for when she hated him.

I don't agree.

1) Walt found out his cancer was back just after the scene whith the MRI in 508, because in 509 he was already having chemotherapy.

2) Walt is very prideful, he wouldn't quit because he had a big pile of money, if he were like that, he would've sold out his methylamine for 5 million dollars

1) He saw the pile of money before his MRI. It takes about a week to get MRI results back and he went from the clinic to Jesses house to Skyler to tell her that hes out. Theres no way he found out in that short window.

2) What good is all that money if its not laundered? It cant be laundered and adding to it means he couldnt have the kids back home.

But he could've just told skyler he's out without actually being out, and i'm gonna rewatch Gliding Over All right now to see if you're right about 1)

He didn't go from the clinic to jesse's house, he was wearing different clothes, but he did go directly from jesse's house to tell skyler he was out, so, who says there wasn't a time skip between the cancer clinic and jesse's house, because it seems out of charachter for walt to just quit.

If he kept cooking and earning un-launderable money he couldnt have the kids back home. And Gilligan said on the "inside 508" that Walt realized when he saw the money that hes surpassed the goal and theres no point cooking anymore.

I started watching the show over again along with the commentaries as of late. In the commentary for the pilot, Vince says the area where Jesse and Walt cook for the first time in the desert is part of the To'hajiilee Indian Reservation. Could Walt and Jesse return to where they first cooked in the upcoming epsiode, To'hajiilee? When Vince said it, I instantly thought of this. (sorry if this was brought up before)

Theres pictures all over the net of them filming at the original cook spot for this season, and it happened during 513's filiming period so it will return. Thats where the mask linking Heisenberg's meth to JP Wynne was found, and "Ozymandias", the episode where the empire supposedly falls is right after To'Hajiilee so maybe thats where Hank gets the evidence he needs. Good eye.

Another interesting note- I never trusted IMDB's cast list for future episodes but they were right about Agent Artie being in Blood Money. In Ozymandias, Mike, Krazy 8, Gale, Tuco and Jane return according to IMDB. I always thought it was bullshit but they were right about Artie, so maybe there is a big reunion.

LucasLeturiaLecaros wrote: Yeah, the throwing up thing was an easter egg, but the "Walt takes something from everyone he kills" theory doesn't apply to this

Walter White is not a serial killer who intentionally steals parts of his enemies as an M.O. or mutant who absorbs the traits of people he kills like the Parasite from Superman, Sylar from Heroes, or Rogue from X-Men.

Walter White taking on the traits of the people he has ruined is simply a creative touch by the showrunners to add more meaning.
