I may be wrong but Walt didn't say that he understood his rights when Hank asked him, instead he called Jesse a Coward. If he were to be arrested and booked, wouldn't this lead to a mistrial?

Now, the writers strike in 2007 and 2008 shortened Season one. It went from nine episodes to seven. In Season two, the first two episodes would fit seemlessly in Season one. Do you think that if Season One was nine episodes, Season two would have been shorter thus eliminating the regular 13 episode season for an 11 episode season?
